about

Binary politics, relinquished stardom (death by social media), simplified solutions to the complexities of life, the destruction of values and our moral codes. Weltmusic.

Party Politics- The headache of squabbling over the abyss, the daily politics we endure. We all want to change to the world but can we really be bothered wasting our lives entrenched in the endless meetings and forced consensus of party politics? Zzzzz. If you've ever been to party in Glasgow in the wee small hours, you'll know a thing or two about this title.

Peter Gabriel- For every Michael Gove or Iain Duncan Smith in England, there is a Peter Gabriel. Hold on to that lovely thought. If Brexit was run by the Peters and Syds of eccentric Olde England it would be a beautiful thing.

Voguing With Madonna- There's more than a Ciccone in the title, if you get us. Aren't those opening chords to Vogue absolute bliss?

Dave Gahan Statue, Crystal Palace- On 31st July 1993, Depeche Mode played a concert in Crystal Palace Sports Ground to an assumingly adoring crowd. Why there isn't a monument to acknowledge this grand fact is a mystery to us all.

Mar-a-Lago- You know that sound of an extreme headache set to the sound of Swedish House Mafia or some such nonsense on an Ibizan beach? Yes, that.

Modern Japanese Lullaby- Old Japan was brutal. Barbaric. Modern Japan is peace, harmony and respect. The only way for the new generation to release the tension is the extreme noise terror of bands like Melt Banana and other such 'esoteric' acts and mad fantasy comic Manga lifestyles.

When I Think Freely, I Shatter Reality- Thanks to the social media world, everyone has a voice. Oh, how they love that voice to be heard! The philosophers of yesteryear have nothing on the enriching and essential insights of today's laptop loyalists.

Skinny Puppies- Are skinny puppies are skinny puppies. No matter what.

Victory Gin- There comes a time when every self respecting human has to go all Winston Smith and reach for that Victory Gin. The war never ends, it only grows in size but at least we are winning, right?

Thanks to Paul Simon’s ‘Graceland’ and Peter Gabriel’s ‘So’ for the inspiration.
